I was looking around the net and I saw this picture! I have heard so much about this setup: Apple ][e and the Dual 148KN Drive and the Apple Green Monitor with the tilt screen! Please would go GAGA over it and they dream about it! Now this is not a 100 years ago. May be less than 30 years and if you compare the power of this machine, 1MHz 6502 processor and 64KB of memory with dual 148K floppy, might 1/10000 of the power of the slowest machine that we use now-a-days. Yet, looking at this picture, even tho long before my time, makes me feel that I like to have this machine and see what it can do. So here is my question: Is Aesthetics and Design so important that even in 30 years, well design products will be wanton by generation that they are using much more powerful and better products? Some how I have a feeling that the answer to this question is a resounding: “YES”!
