Will MSFT distribute Win 7 in Europe with no Internet Explorer? If so, why not in N. America? Why not remove IE from ‘ALL’ versions of Windows? Just like any other browser, you can go and download it from multiple sources – including Microsoft. But this rule should also include Apple as well as all flavors of Linux. Apple should also agree or be forced (just like Microsoft was forced in Europe by the penalties & fines) to remove Safari from all version of OS X. In case of Linux, they can not include Firefox in all their distros. This might balance the uses of browsers across the board. May be at that time, we can really get a clear picture of how these browsers are selected and used by the netizens. I am sure we will have a completely different picture than we have right now.
